Funny Little Story About Sarah Palin

Comments   |   Print this   |   E-mail this

I usually don't resort to making fun of people who are um, easily made fun of, like Sarah Palin. I don't because it's predictable and in the pantheon of partisan cable news shows, frankly, it's just a little too easy to rip on goofballs like Palin, Cheney or Pelosi (let alone the TV hosts), so I'm not inclined to follow the already madding crowd.

I prefer to blaze my own trails.

But this is a pretty funny write by Politico.

1.) Fox News could have hired a no-name housewife or white collar worker from one of the square states for the same kind of analysis as, 'I wasn't sure if Iraq was behind Sept. 11th'. Obviously, ratings are more important than credibility at Fox News if you're hiring Sarah Palin to draw eye balls to the network...

2.) So Palin admits to her lack of knowledge about both Iraq and Sept. 11th on her first day at Fox but we're supposed to believe her book publicity junket interviews last fall saying that she didn't answer Katie Couric's simplistic question (during the campaign a year prior) about what news periodicals she reads because she didn't like Couric's aloof attitude toward her? Again, no credibility, Sarah.

game change bookfiliate3.) Palin scorches the authors of the new book "Game Change" (allegedly documenting both sides of the 2008 Obama/McCain race) about her knowledge of the Korean penninsula...

Asked about the book’s assertion that she did not know that the Korean peninsula was separated into two vastly different countries, Palin responded: “That’s a lie. It’s pretty made up,” Palin said of the book, which she said she has not read.

but

4.) Says the authors are spot-on about Majority Leader Harry Reid's "negro dialect" comment regarding then-Sen. Barack Obama.

Sorry Sarah, can't have it both ways. You and Fox should have a lovely business marriage together.

P.S. About this book "Game Change", why the hell didn't these authors publish this info during the damn campaign?? This is the sorta stuff that deserves to be known before Election Day, not after! Yeesh.
