Rain ends Seattle dry streak at 29 days
The National Weather Service says rain was recorded at Sea- Tac Airport with just 11 minutes left in Thursday's measurement period.
Forecasters expect cool and showery weather to continue through the weekend with highs in the 60s in Western Washington.
Forecasters say the same weather system is bringing a chance of showers and thunderstorms to Eastern Washington where unsettled weather is expected through the weekend with high temperatures in the 70s.
